Amsterdam is painting itself orange for a two-day celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the Dutch monarch Queen Beatrix's coronation. The city's central square has been transformed into an opera stage for a serenade of the 67-year-old queen Friday night, and more than a million visitors are expected to flock to the city for the Queen's Day holiday over the weekend. On Saturday, parliament and the Cabinet will convene in the 13th century Hall of Knights in The Hague for a ceremonial session honoring the queen.
