President George W. Bush of the United States of America received at his ranch in Crawford, Texas today Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, currently on a visit to the United States of America at the invitation of President Bush. President Bush and the Crown Prince held a meeting during which the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz to the President, his Administration and the friendly people of the United States. During the meeting, they discussed the situations in the Middle East particularly the Palestinian issue, the suffering inflicted on the Palestinian people by Israeli occupation forces, the necessity of achieving a comprehensive and just peace in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions, the implementation of the Road Map whose reference was based on the Arab peace initiative adopted by Beirut Summit which was an initiative of the Crown Prince. The initiative is to enable the Palestinian people to set up their independent state on its national territories with Al-Quds as its capital so that all peoples in the region enjoy security and stability. --More 2358 Local Time 2058 GMT
