Security forces chased three suspect fugitives along Madinah-Makkah highway last night to finally besiege them at a hideout in Makkah and storm the building, killing two of them and arresting the third, an official source of the Ministry of Interior said, adding that two security men were martyred in the operation and four slightly injured. The source said check point duty security officers tonight stopped a car in which two persons were wearing Ihram (Muslims white cloth for Hajj and Umrah (minor Hajj), accompanied by two women wearing tradition costumes and sitting in the car's rear seats. As the driver embarked the car to show the passengers' and the car's official identities and papers, the passengers managed to flee with the car towards a residential area in Makkah, he said. He added that the driver, who was arrested and interrogated on the spot, informed that the passengers, including two disguised women, belong to deviating group who were wanted by the security forces. They were chased by security forces. However, they found their way to a hideout in Alsalamah neighborhood of Makkah. They started random firing at the security forces, leading to the burning of some cars parking in the site, the source summarized.
