The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen have recently signed a protocol for cooperation in the field of civil service and insurance. Undersecretary of the Yemeni Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance Taha Al-Hamadani said the protocol was signed during the recent visit of Yemeni Minister of Civil Service and Insurance Hamoud Khalid Al-Sofi to the Kingdom. In a statement to Sanaa-based 'September 26' Newspaper' today, Al-Hamadani said the protocol stipulates extending facilities by the Saudi side to the Yemeni side in the development of systems of work as well as in improvement of skills. Moreover, the Saudi side will extend the possible technical assistance to the Yemeni side for preparation of systems of health insurance for the governmental employees. Meanwhile, the Saudi Institute of Public Administration will help the Yemeni side in preparation of a national strategy for training and developing the systems of retirement.
