Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, patronized here tonight the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the new headquarters of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry. A speech ceremony was held to mark the occasion. At the venue, Prince Sattam was received by a number of ministers, senior officials and businessmen. Addressing the gathering, Abdulrahman Aljiraisi, Chairman of the Council of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said the 12-storey building and its affiliate facilities will be constructed on an area of 16,000 sq. m. and will cost SR40 million. He paid tribute to Eng. Saad bin Ibrahim Almejel, a Saudi tycoon, for his SR12 million donation to the project.
