U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick said Thursday in Khartoum that a recent United Nations Security Council resolution on Darfur would not impact on the implementation of a comprehensive peace agreement. Speaking to reporters in Khartoum, Zoellick stressed that the peace agreement is a key element in resolving all other conflicts in the country. He had earlier met Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Taha. Zoellick is to visit Darfur Friday to assess the humanitarian and security situation in the region. --SP 0014 Local Time 2114 GMT
