Aceh rebels and an Indonesian government delegation on Tuesday started the third round of peace talks in Finland aimed at bringing lasting peace to the tsunami-ravaged province. The Finnish mediator, former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari, would meet with both sides separately before a joint meeting later Tuesday, said Maria-Elena Cowell, a spokeswoman for the Crisis Management Initiative, an institution formed by Ahtisaari, which has facilitated the talks. Cowell told the Finnish news agency STT that further talks are planned after the current six-day round finishes at the Konigstedt mansion in Vantaa, outside Helsinki.
