Three Estonian parties Tuesday signed an agreement to form a coalition government to be led by Prime Minister-designate Andrus Ansip. Representatives for the conservative Reform Party, the left-leaning Center Party and the rural-based People's Union Party signed the deal early Tuesday morning, Reform Party spokesman Kristen Michal said. The coalition agreement was expected to come up for a vote in parliament later Tuesday. If approved, the coalition would muster a slight majority of lawmakers in the 101-seat Riigikogu. The new Cabinet would form the Baltic country's 12th government since it regained independence in 1991.
