Pakistani security forces have arrested up to six people suspected of having links to al-Qaida, state-run television reported. The arrests of "between four and six" militants were made in Peshawar, capital of the North West Frontier Province, which borders Afghanistan, Pakistan Television said, quoting Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed as saying. He added that some small arms and literature were seized when the arrests were made.
