Japan's industrial production dropped a seasonally adjusted 2.1 per cent in February from the previous month, the biggest fall in a year, the government said Wednesday. The Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry, however, said industrial production is forecast to rise 0.9 per cent in March and gain 3.6 per cent in April. The latest decline of 2.1 per cent drop was steeper than many economists had expected. They estimated on average a 1-per-cent fall.
