Syria signs Eyesight program

Syria's Minister of Health Maher Al-Husami signed here today the Eyesight Program 2020 for Combating Blindness aimingto eliminate and prevent the causes of the eye handicap .
The signing ceremony was held in the first session of Arab Health Ministerial Council and attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, head of the regional bureau of the international agency for combating blindness and Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie, Minister of Health.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad said that now all Arab countries have signed the program, noting that the program will be submitted to the General Assembly of the World Health Organization to be adopted.
