Aviation officials working with local fisherman recovered the bodies of four crewmen Friday from a Ukrainian-registered plane that crashed into Lake Victoria in northwestern Tanzania. The Ilyushin-76 was carrying 50 tons (45 metric tones) of fish to Croatia via Khartoum, Sudan when it crashed Wednesday night. Regional Commissioner Daniel Ole Njoolay said four more bodies have yet to be recovered. The entire eight-man crew were believed to be Russian citizens. "The recovery operation is affected because of heavy rains," he said.
