Russia's Federal Security Service paid a reward of US$10 million (¤7.5 million) for information on the exact location of Chechen rebel leader Aslan Maskhadov, the Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday. Maskhadov was killed last week in a special operation in northern Chechnya. Interfax, citing the security service's press office, said the agency would be prepared to help the person who provided the information move to another region of Russia or to a Muslim country.
