Seven people were shot to death in a church and four seriously wounded by a gunman who turned a handgun on himself before police arrived at the suburban Milwaukee hotel where the shootings occurred, a Wisconsin police official said Sunday. The killings in the state of Wisconsin came as police in Atlanta, Georgia, arrested a man for the courthouse killings of a judge and two deputies on Friday. The man also was a suspect in the shooting death of an immigration agent several hours after he grabbed a gun from one of the deputies and shot his way to 26 hours of freedom. A witness said the killer was armed with several clips of ammunition, and that he calmly reloaded his weapon during the killing spree. Twenty-two shots were fired in the room where 50-60 worshippers were present, said Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus. The killer's motive was not immediately known. --SP 2317 Local Time 2017 GMT
