An explosion rocked a church in northeastern Italy on Sunday, injuring three people, police said. The cause of the blast was not clear. Police in the city of Treviso confirmed the blast and the number of injured but said they had no other details. One of the victims at the church in the town of Motta di Livenza was a small child whose hands were badly injured, Sky TG24 television reported. The ANSA news agency, citing police sources, said authorities were not ruling out that the explosion was set off by the "Italian Unabomber," who is believed responsible for a dozen explosions in the area since at least 1994.
