Speaker of Ethiopian Parliament Dawit Youhans and visiting Chairman of the Saudi Shoura Council Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid held a joint press conference, highlighting the successful outcome of bin Homaid's visit to the African Horn country. At the outset of the briefing, the Ethiopian official described the visit as successful and fruitful. On his part, bin Homaid said it is a successful visit, noting that it is the first time a Shoura Council delegation visits Ethiopia. He said the talks he held with senior Ethiopian officials dealt with economic and investment issues in addition to ways to boost relations between the Shoura Council and the Ethiopian parliament.
