Majid bin Abdul Rahim Al-Ghanimi, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Social Development, participated today in an emergency meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs on behalf of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development - Chairman of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs - Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi. The meeting discussed the humanitarian and social situation in the Republic of Sudan, with the participation of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs. In his speech, Al-Ghanimi emphasized the commitment of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to providing humanitarian, relief, and charitable aid, and extending a helping hand to affected groups worldwide, including the Republic of Sudan through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs expressed its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims in the Republic of Sudan. It also emphasized its solidarity with the injured and pledged to work towards ensuring their safe evacuation from the crisis. The Council expressed hope to end the difficult situation in the Republic of Sudan, provide safe and rapid access for the arrival of humanitarian aid, and restore social life and facilities back to normal. Such efforts will positively impact the injured, affected, and all segments of the Sudanese people.
