Abdulmuhsen Al-Khalaf, Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies and International Affairs, has participated in a high-level workshop on "Climate finance issues to support the sustainable transition." The Arab Monetary Fund organized the workshop in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank Group (WBG), and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development in the Kingdom of Morocco. Experts and representatives from ministries of finance of Arab countries, the IMF, WBG, and regional financial institutions attended the workshop. The main goal of the workshop was to enhance opportunities for exchanging expertise and experiences among Arab countries in climate finance policies to achieve a sustainable transition, follow up on their efforts in addressing climate change, achieve economic and financial stability, and promote comprehensive and sustainable growth.
