The Jordanian Foreign Ministry has reiterated its call for all parties in Sudan to exercise restraint, put an immediate end to the fighting, resume dialogue, and abide by the political framework agreement in order to bring about a new phase that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people and contributes to bolstering security, and political and economic stability in this African country, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The ministry also issued a statement today expressing condolences to Egypt over the death of the assistant to the administrative attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum, who was killed amid fighting between rival military factions in the Sudanese capital.
