President Sadyr Japarov of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan received a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) led by its CEO, Sultan Abdurrahman Al-Marshad, in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek. Saudi Deputy Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Saad Al-Dhawayan, and other officials from both sides were also present at the meeting. During the meeting, the Kyrgyz President expressed his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their development support to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. He also thanked the SFD for financing and implementing development projects and programs in the Republic. In response, the SFD CEO confirmed that the Fund's development support is an extension of the existing development cooperation between the two countries, which has been ongoing for over 12 years. The SFD is the Kingdom's arm in international development. Al-Marshad met with Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov and they discussed development projects funded by the SFD in Kyrgyzstan and ways to enhance the development cooperation between the two countries. The Kyrgyz Prime Minister praised the developmental impact of the projects and programs driven by the Fund in Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the importance of the ongoing partnership between the SFD and Kyrgyzstan.
