The Shoura Council approved an amendment of paragraph B of article 53 of the Servicemen Regulation during a session held here today and presided over by the vice chairman Bakri bin Salih Shata. The amendment allows giving a serviceman a full-salary leave for a period of up to one and a half years if he incurred a physical injury or a disease while on duty, Secretary General of the Council Dr. Homood Albadr said in a press statement following the session.
