Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov the importance of bolstering the GCC-Azerbaijani ties to serve common interests. This came during a phone call received by the Secretary General of the GCC from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan today. During their conversation, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the GCC countries and Azerbaijan. They also discussed ways to enhance them and the means to ensure their development and growth in various fields to achieve shared objectives in light of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between both sides in 2013. This includes activating cooperation in various areas such as economy, trade, tourism, education, energy, agricultural investment, food security, and communication between the peoples.
