Joint Forces Command of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen: Arrival of (19) Prisoners; (16) Saudis, (3) Sudanese, Under Prisoners, Detainees Exchange

A Statement by the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki:
"Today (15 April 2023) (19) prisoners of the Coalition forces arrived at King Khalid International Airport, (16) of whom are Saudis, and (3) are Sudanese, in exchange for the release of (250) Houthi detainees who departed Abha International Airport to Sana'a under the prisoner exchange process.
Receiving the arriving prisoners at King Khalid International Airport are H.E. Chief of the General Staff General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, H.E. Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Joint Forces Commander General Motlaq Al-Azimah, their Royal Highnesses and Excellencies Commanders of the Armed Forces, H.E. Chief of Military Service in the Saudi Ministry of the National Guard Major General Mohammed Al-Qahtani and H.E. The Sudanese military attaché to the Kingdom Brigadier General Mohammed Abshir.
The prisoner exchange process that aims to end the prisoners' issue and retrieve all prisoners and detainees is a matter of prime concern for the political and military leadership of the Coalition.
The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition values the efforts of the ICRC and the Special Envoy of the Secretary General for Yemen, Mr. Hans Grundberg to support and ensure the success of the prisoner and detainee exchange process."
