Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf left Saturday for a five-day tour of Central Asian countries, a news report said. Musharraf will visit Uzbekistan for two days and then head for Kyrgyzstan for talks with senior government officials, Pakistan's private Geo television reported. It gave no other details, and government officials were not immediately available for comment. Musharraf has said he wants to enhance trade with Central Asian states to strengthen Pakistan's economy.
