King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) handed over on Friday a total of 29,412 rice bags, weighing 735,300 kilograms, to the Republic of Liberia as per efforts to enhance food security in the West African country. The food assistance was handed over to Liberian Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah in Monrovia, in his capacity as representative of Liberia's government, to be distributed by the National Disaster Management Agency among 88236 beneficiaries in the presence of the Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Ivory Coast Mohammed Al-Mubarak, Liberian Internal Affairs Minister, Varney Sirleaf, and other officials. Kemayah voiced gratitude for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's assistance to the needy segments in his country, extending the Liberian president's greetings to the Saudi leadership. This comes within the Kingdom's humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief to support food security in fraternal and friendly countries worldwide.
