King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday signed a cooperation agreement with a civil society organisation to implement the Zakat Al-Fitr Project for 1444 Hijri in Yemen. The agreement, signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz at the centre's headquarters in Riyadh, aims to deliver Zakat Al-Fitr to beneficiaries consisting of displaced persons, orphans and the most vulnerable groups in Marib and the Western Coast; 84,000 individuals are expected to benefit from the project. These efforts are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's endeavour, through KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people under the prevailing humanitarian crisis.
