The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has delivered the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's gift of dates to Mozambique. The ceremony took place at the Saudi embassy in Maputo; attending was Chargé d'Affaires Majid Al-Jahni. The ministry also distributed Iftar meals to all 50 medical personnel working at the MedPark Hospital in Thailand's capital Bangkok, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar Programme implemented by the ministry in Thailand during the holy month of Ramadan. The ministry, represented by religious attaché at the Saudi embassy in Kazakhstan, delivered the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques gift of 5 tonnes of dates. The handing over ceremony was held at the Saudi embassy in Astana. Saudi Ambassador Faisal Al-Qahtani, who attended the ceremony, said that the gift is received with appreciation by the people of Kazakhstan, who also commend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role in serving Islam and Muslims throughout the year, with special focus in Ramadan.
