The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift Program for Distributing Dates in Zambia, in the presence of the Acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy Ammar bin Abdul-Khair Al-Mawlid; the Assistant Religious Attaché Fahd bin Saad Al-Shathri, and preachers of the embassy. During the inaugural ceremony at the Saudi Embassy in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, Al-Shathri said the program to distribute premium-quality dates benefits 25,000 Muslims throughout the holy month of Ramadan. He noted that this is one of the programs the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud launched in many countries, including Zambia. The program is part of the ongoing support extended by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance to benefit Islam and Muslims under wise leadership's guidance. Muslims in Zambia expressed their appreciation for the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for implementing the program in their country and serving Muslims worldwide.
