The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, met today with Lieutenant General Dr. Eid bin Awad Al Shalawi, Commander of the GCC Unified Military Command. During the meeting, the GCC Secretary General emphasized the significance of strengthening military cooperation within the GCC system. The two sides also discussed several matters related to joint military action to enhance the progress of the Cooperation Council and to fulfil the aspirations of the GCC countries' peoples, following the visions and directives of the leaders of the GCC countries.
