A team of Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Tonga to deliver a financial donation to Queen Nanasipau'u Charity to help those affected by the tsunami that has recently hit Hunga-Tonga Hunga-Ha'apai archipelago. KSrelief Director of Operations Department Faleh Abdullah Al-Subaie and a representative of the Saudi embassy in Australia handed over the donation at the royal palace in the capital Nuku'alofa yesterday, in the presence of Queen Nanasipauʻu of the Kingdom of Tonga. The Queen thanked and expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their generosity and help to the tsunami victims following the 2022 Hunga-Tonga Hunga-Ha'apai volcanic eruption, noting that her charity will utilize the funds to provide the necessary supplies to those in the resettlement areas. She expressed hope that good relations will be fostered with KSrelief and that further exchanges in other areas will be conducted. The gesture is part of Saudi Arabia's noble humanitarian and relief efforts, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, in support of the needy everywhere in the world.
