Palelestinian gunmen shot and wounded two Israelis near a Jewish settlement in the West Bank on Monday, medics said, in another setback to a tattered truce. Gunmen shot at an Israeli car driving near the Kfar Oranim settlement, wounding one person seriously and the other moderately, medics said. Both of the wounded were apparently guards responsible for securing the settlement. There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack which came days after a de facto truce declared by the Palestinian Authority and Israel was shattered by a suicide bombing which killed five Israelis at a Tel Aviv nightclub.
