Magnitude-5.1 Offshore Earthquake Hits Ryukyu Islands, Japan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 offshore hit Saturday the Japanese Ryukyu Islands.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMCS) said that the epicenter was 10 kilometers below sea level.
There have been no initial reports of damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake.
