The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to occur on some parts of the region of Northern Borders, extending to the northern parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions, reducing the horizontal sight, while the dusty winds will continue to be active on some parts of Makkah, Madinah, Qassim and Hail regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly on the northern and central parts and southwesterly to southeasterly on the southern part at speed of 15-35km/h, reaching more than 45km/h, towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northeasterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-35km/h on northern part and southerly to southeasterly at speed 15-32km/h on the central part and southerly to southwesterly at speed of 10-30km/h on southern part.
