Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) has signed three framework agreements with several technology companies in the private sector for cloud computing of infrastructure, a framework agreement to supply information technology devices and a framework agreement to supply printers, scanners and toners, on the sidelines of the LEAP23, hosted in Riyadh. The most prominent agreements concluded by EXPRO included an agreement on cloud computing of infrastructure to provide cloud services to government entities. This agreement will also provide random memory, storage and backup, virtual CPUs, and several other cloud services. The agreement seeks to enhance contributions from the private sector, boost local content, and build cloud data centers in the Kingdom.
