Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha received yesterday Director of the Islamic Affairs Department at the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saif Ahmed. During the meeting, Taha stressed OIC's constant principled position in support of Libya, its people's unity, and territorial integrity. In accordance with the OIC Charter and its principles, and the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and the Council of Foreign Ministers, Taha reaffirmed the OIC's support for all initiatives and efforts that contribute to resolving the Libyan crisis politically, to ensure that security and stability are restored in Libya, to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to fulfill the aspirations of the Libyan people.
