The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thundershowers, accompanied by active winds are still forecasted to fall on the southern parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions. The report added that sky will be partly cloudy with rain clouds on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Assir and Baha regions, as well as the heights of Makkah region, while the fog will be seen on some parts of these regions, as well as some parts of Qassim and Hail regions and the temperatures will be low on the southern parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, along with the southern regions of the Kingdom. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northeasterly to easterly, gradually turning southwesterly to westerly at speed of 15-30km/h on northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly at speed of 10-30km/h, on southern part, reaching more than 45km/h, on Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-35km/h on northern part and southeasterly to southwesterly, gradually turning northeasterly at speed of 10-40km/h, on southern part, reaching more that 50km/h, with occurring of thunderstorms.
