Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib, has met with his Tajik counterpart, Yusuf Rahmon, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed preventive and criminal measures in combating terrorism and its financing, money laundering, and cross-border crimes, in addition to exchanging experiences on the laws and regulations in both countries in areas that fall within the competence of the two parties in light of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Kingdom and Tajikistan in Jeddah. Sheikh Al-Mujib stressed the historical ties of the Saudi-Tajik relationship, pointing out that this meeting reflects the two countries' efforts to develop the judicial and justice systems, thanking the Tajik Prosecutor-General for the kind reception and hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation.
