Pakistan's Senate (Upper House of Parliament) Chairman Muhammad-mian Soomro has gone to the United States for a six-day visit, officials said. He will deliver a lecture on 'Emerging Opportunities in Pakistan' at the Harvard Business School. The event is co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Pakistan- Boston and the Harvard Pakistani Students. During his stay in the United States, Soomro will also visit Austin and Texas. While in Houston on February 22, the Senate chairman will attend a community banquet to be hosted by Pakistan Association of Golden Triangle (PAGT). He will speak on 'The New Phase of Pak-U.S. Relations in the Second Term of President Bush and the Impact of 9/11 Commission Report on Pakistan'. Those attending will be the City Mayor, local elected officials and Congressman Ted Poe.
