The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that thundershowers, accompanied by active winds are forecasted to fall on some parts Qassim, Hail and Madinah regions, as well as some parts of regions of Northern Borders (Rafha) and the Eastern (Hafer Al-Baten), while thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds are forecasted to occur on some parts of Jazan, Asir and Baha regions and the fog will be seen during the night and early morning hours on some parts of Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf and Tabuk regions, as well as the northern parts of Madinah Region. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30km/h on the northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly at speed of 15-30km/h on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speed of 10-25km/h.
