Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs E. Ahmed arrived in Sana'a on Saturday on a two-day official visit, Yemen's National News Agency "Saba" reported. During the visit, the Indian minister would meet senior officials of the foreign ministry dealing with Yemeni-Indian bilateral ties and means of boosting them. They would discuss also a number of regional and international issues of common concern. New Delhi attaches special significance to its relations with Sana'a which has fully backed India's candidature for a permanent seat in an enlarged UN Security Council.
