France has had "indirect" signs that a reporter missing in Iraq for nearly seven weeks with her Iraqi translator is alive, the French foreign minister said Friday, Michel Barnier gave no details, reiterating that the safety of Florence Aubenas and Hussein Hanoun al-Saadi depends on secrecy. "We are doing everything we should so that they come back," the minister said on LCI television.
