Saudi Arabia's HRH Crown Prince's Announcement on Bearing Costs of Jakarta Islamic Center Restoration Is Highly Commended by Indonesian Islamic Figures
A number of Islamic personalities and heads of religious associations and major Da'wah institutions in Indonesia have commended the announcement of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will bear the costs of the restoration of the Islamic Center in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, after large parts of it were exposed to a fire accident last month. The head of the Association of Indonesian Graduates of Saudi Universities, Dr. Dasman Yahya Maali Al-Kamfari, indicated that it is not surprising that the Kingdom, with its leadership and people, took such a blessed step as serving Islam and Muslims and caring for them is a top priority. For his part, the head of the Dar Al-Iman Foundation for Preaching, Education and Relief in the western Sumatran city of Padang, Mohammad Elfi Sham, praised the announcement of HRH Crown Prince to restore the center, describing it as one of the noble deeds that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has persevered under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to carry it out as an embodiment of its leadership in the Islamic world and its keenness on Muslims wherever they are. The Director General of Muaz bin Jabal Islamic Institutes and Centers in Indonesia, Zaizin Zain Al-Mursaleen, also affirmed that the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince, did not hesitate to provide aid and assistance to the children of Indonesia in particular and the children of Muslims in general, and it was and still is their support and assistance in difficult times and major crises. The Director of Imam Shafi'i University for Sharia Sciences, Dr. Ali Masri Simjan Futra, emphasized the importance of the Kingdom's role and leadership in serving Islam and the Muslims of Indonesia in addition to Muslims all over the world.
