Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has concluded its participation in this year's edition of the World Travel Market (WTM) Exhibition 2022 in London, which is considered as one of the most important international events in the travel industry, as nearly 5,000 exhibitors representing 182 countries participated in this edition, in addition to more than 51,000 participants. The exhibition was held from 7 to 9 November at ExCeL London Convention & Exhibition Centre, which is classified as the first of its kind in the city. The event witnessed the return of all its activities to the way they were before the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, with hundreds of travel destinations and brands from all over the world benefitted from the initiative to display their products and services. DGDA reviewed its distinguished capabilities through its dedicated site at the exhibition, as well as during the dialogue session held under the theme "Mission Towards Sustainability", with the participation of the CEO of DGDA, Jerry Inzerillo. DGDA also revealed its ambitions to put Diriyah on the global travel map based on its fast-moving ambitious development projects and efforts to preserve heritage, in addition to highlighting two of its most exciting projects, the historical At-Turaif District in ad-Dir'iyah, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Matal Al-Bujairi, which is a luxury dining destination.
