Major General Al-Qarni Leads Saudi Delegation Participating in 36th Conference of Heads of Narcotics Control Services in General Secretariat of Council of Arab Interior Ministers
The Director General of Anti-Narcotics, Major General Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Qarni, headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 36th Conference of Heads of Anti-Narcotics Departments at the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunisia. Al-Qarni emphasized that the Kingdom's participation in the conference is a continuation of its role in monitoring and diagnosing the extent of drug effects and harms in the Arab world and around the world, as well as strengthening international cooperation and information exchange procedures to address the operations of organized crime networks in general and drug crime in particular. Al-Qarni affirmed that the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom has implemented resolute measures to combat the scourge of drugs by arresting, controlling, and raising awareness, as well as thwarting attempts by criminal networks to smuggle and promote drugs through preemptive security strikes, in collaboration with internal partners and brotherly and friendly countries.
