Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) inaugurated today the women's Open Market for business women affected by displacement in Marib, within the SDRPY-funded Saba Program for Economic Empowerment, organized by the Marib Girls Foundation, in cooperation with the Trade and Industry Office in the governorate, as a contribution to empowering women in supporting the economic movement by rehabilitating and preparing them to establish economically feasible projects that meet the needs of the governorate and provide quality job opportunities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior officials in the governorate, representatives of civil society organizations, relevant authorities, and individuals interested in this regard.
Expressing his thanks and appreciation to SDRPY, the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Dr. Abd Rabbo Muftah stressed that such projects are very important for families who do not have a source of income, as they are income-generating projects that contribute to helping families and developing their economic capabilities, praising SDRPY's efforts and the Marib Girls Foundation, in supporting and implementing these activities that contribute significantly to supporting and empowering women and developing their skills in light of the difficult living conditions experienced by most Yemeni families.

The Saba Program is the first program to empower Yemeni women economically in Marib, through which 60 trainees will acquire the skills necessary to launch their projects, with 40 projects in the rehabilitation and training of the business sector, and 20 projects in the rehabilitation and training of income sources, including 40 awareness campaigns in the governorate, as it represents a tributary and assistant for businesswomen to provide them with income for them and their families and contribute to improving living standards in the governorate.
The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen has provided pioneering development projects and initiatives in Marib Governorate in various sectors, including the Sheba Provincial University Development Project, which aims to raise the efficiency of educational institutions and meet the growing need for education in the governorate, and has contributed to increasing opportunities for university enrollment and providing a good educational environment. The project also serves 3129 beneficiaries, as well as those enrolled in the university from Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Bayda, and the displaced from neighboring governorates.
