The GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization Affairs held its 4th meeting here today, headed by Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media, Chairman of the current session, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and in the presence of the GCC Commerce Ministers, and with the participation of Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, and President of the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) Saud bin Nasser Al-Khusaibi. During the meeting, the Minister of Commerce welcomed the participants, wishing them a pleasant stay in their second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing the importance of standardization activities in enhancing integration and cooperation among the GCC countries to achieving the economic growth.
