Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajel, in the presence of CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham Al-Jadhey, inaugurated the Advanced Medical Technologies Co. Factory, during the minister's visit to the pavilion of Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company at the World Health Forum that was held between October 9 and 11. The factory aims at increasing the share of the local content in the health sector to realize one of the initiatives of the Saudi Vision 2030, transferring the knowledge and latest global development in cooperation with international companies, and achieving products' diversity in a way that accords with government programs. Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company and Chinese BGI Group also signed several agreements in logistical services fields to develop and manufacture medical devices and provide healthcare services. Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company also reviewed the services of the First Company for Transfer of Healthcare, which is a subsidiary whose strategic vision focuses on being one of the pillars of transformation in healthcare in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through technology and innovation to contribute to realizing the targets of the health sector and Saudi Vision 2030, where the company also seeks to keep pace with the health transformation at the local and international levels.
