Quds city, Feb 13, SPA -- Israel's Cabinet on Sunday approved a list of names of 500 Palestinian prisoners to be released in coming days, in line with agreements reached at a Mideast summit last week, Israeli officials said. The prisoner release is one of several Israeli gestures to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. Israel will also allow several dozen Palestinian extremists who had been expelled from the West Bank to return to their homes and gradually hand five West Bank towns to Palestinian control. Israel's Cabinet had approved the prisoner release in principle in a previous meeting, and on Sunday approved the list of names of 500 inmates to be freed in coming days.
