Published in Saudi Press Agency on 02 - 10 - 2022

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve is participating in the 19 session of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), held between September 26 and October 02, 2022 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) under the theme "Sustainability and heritage... A Reborn Aspiration", where its pavilion has seen a wide turnout from citizens and residents of the UAE.
The reserve is displaying a comprehensive journey of all its nature and cultural characteristics, starting of acquainting the public with Royal reserves in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, projects of environment preservation, top animals and birds at the reserve and top wild plants with their seeds in a live show.
The pavilion sheds light on projects of the local community and top voluntary works that took place at the reserve, in cooperation with universities at the reserve areas and their residents, in addition to their prestigious archaeological sites and tourist projects that happened during the last reserve spring seasons, such as Rakayeb Jabbah experiments that immerse participants in a comprehensive Bedouin experience in Al-Nufud Desert that is known for its golden beauty and mountainous topography, such as the Al-Satiha Mountain, where transport is made in camels over three days of the genuine Bedouin life.
The participation aims at promoting the fourth biggest wild reserve in the world in terms of area, which stands at more than 130,000 kilometers, and is considered among the biggest reserves in the Middle East, where it is known for its fascinating geography and prestigious civilizations in Jabbah, which is registered at UNESCO's Heritage List, and Kilwah, which host the rarest endangered animals, such as Al-Maha, Chlamydotis (bustard), and Goitered (Rhim) gazelle.
CEO of the King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority Abdullah Al-Amer said that the participation aims at promoting the biggest wild reserve in the Middle East and the fourth in the world in terms of the area, in addition to introducing its strategic goals and vision to be a distinguished destination for eco-tourism that integrates with its surroundings, preserves the nature and cultural heritage and contributes to the sustainable social and economic development.
The participation is an extension of solid relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE and prestigious history between the two countries.
