Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met today in Mexico City with Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Hassan Nazim, during his attendance UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development (MONDIACULT) 2022 being held in the United States of Mexico. During the meeting, they emphasized the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening joint cultural cooperation. The Prince praised the joint work between the Saudi-Iraqi work teams specialized in heritage in light of the growing cooperation between the Heritage Commission in the Kingdom and the Antiquities and Heritage Authority in Iraq, calling for more cooperation in all cultural fields. The meeting was attended by the Supervisor General of Cultural Affairs and International Relations at the Ministry of Culture, Rakan Al-Touq, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry for International Cultural Relations, Eng. Fahd Al-Kanaan.
